Horror & Apothecary — Halloween at The Sanctuary

The salon goes dark for one night. Candlelight, apothecary jars, oils and elixirs lined up on the shelf, and something a little sinister in the air. We spend all year mixing potions for your hair — on 24 October we are leaning all the way in.

The theme: Horror & Apothecary. Come as a herbalist, a witch doctor, a Victorian chemist, a creature out of your favourite horror film — or all four at once. Bonnets, headwraps, wild hair and dramatic crowns very much encouraged. This is a textured hair salon; we expect your head to be part of the costume.

On the night:

• Costume contest — dress the theme, there's a prize in it

• Halloween games all evening

• Food by Dale — and Dale does not play

• Drinks included

• Music, good company, and a salon you have never seen look like this
